Susan Honda was first elected to the Federal Way City Council in 2011 and has served for over a decade, including roles as Deputy Mayor and Council President. She graduated from the Tacoma General School of Nursing in 1979. Honda has been actively involved in the community through volunteering in schools, arts organizations, and service clubs. She has been named 'Best City Leader' by the Federal Way Mirror multiple times.
