Susan Humphries, born October 31, 1957, is an American politician and attorney serving as an incumbent Republican in the Kansas House of Representatives from the 99th district since 2017. Described as a conservative, she advocates for classroom investment, parental choice in education, careful taxation, and the elimination of wasteful spending. She has supported legislation to outlaw Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and Critical Race Theory (CRT) in Kansas universities and has worked to strengthen sister-state ties with Taiwan. Humphries called for overriding a veto on a fetal child support bill and has been involved in legislative oversight of the state nursing board.
