Susan McConkey

Susan McConkey is a dedicated conservative candidate running for the Anne Arundel County Republican Central Committee in Maryland's Councilmanic District 5. A longtime Severna Park resident, McConkey has been active in Republican politics for decades. After studying at the University of Maryland, she volunteered for Representative Bob Ehrlich's 1996 campaign and spent a decade working for Representative Wayne Gilchrest. McConkey served as the central committee's vice chair from 2014 to 2016. Beyond politics, she is an experienced real estate agent and IT specialist who volunteers with the Maryland Student Legislature and St. John church.
