Sydney Harrison

Sydney Harrison is a Democratic candidate running for the Prince George's County Council At-Large in Maryland. A native of Prince George's County, Harrison has a strong background in public service. He previously represented District 9 on the County Council, where he was first elected in 2018 and re-elected in 2022, eventually serving as Council Vice-Chair. Before his time on the council, Harrison was elected as the Clerk of the Circuit Court in 2014. Outside of his political career, he is a licensed real estate agent and former plumbing business owner. Harrison is also a published author and has participated in humanitarian missions to Africa and Haiti.
