Takele Gobena is a candidate for SeaTac City Council in SeaTac, Washington — 2025 General Election. Running as Nonpartisan.

Takele Gobena was previously elected to the SeaTac City Council in 2019 and served for four years in Position No. 5 before resigning in October 2023. During his tenure, he served as the Administration & Finance Committee Chair and was a member of the Transportation & Public Works Committee, Sidewalk Advisory Committee, and Public Safety & Justice Committee. He graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics, and a minor in Business Administration. He has also worked as a Union Representative for the Teamsters labor union. Gobena is a father of three daughters.
