Tam T. Bui

Tam T. Bui has served as a Snohomish County District Court Judge since being elected in 2006. She came to the United States as a refugee from Vietnam in 1975. Bui is a graduate of the University of Washington and the University of Puget Sound School of Law (now Seattle University Law School). Her early career included handling appeals at the Washington Appellate Defender Association and the Snohomish County Public Defender Association. Prior to her election, she served for four years as a State Administrative Law Judge, deciding civil cases.
