Tamara Davis Brown

Tamara Davis Brown is a Democratic candidate for County Council in Maryland's Councilmanic District 9. An attorney specializing in telecommunications, she is also the co-founder and CEO of an internet service company. For over two decades, she has been a community advocate, focusing on issues such as land use, zoning, and responsible development. Her platform prioritizes affordability, wise budget funding for schools and public safety, and economic development. Having previously run for the same seat in 2018 and the Maryland State Senate in 2022, she has a long history of civic engagement, including appointments by both Democratic and Republican governors to a citizen advisory group for the Maryland Attorney General.
