Tandy Darby

Tandy Darby is an incumbent State Representative for Tennessee's 76th district, a position he assumed in November 2020. A Republican from Greenfield, he previously served as Deputy Republican Whip. Darby earned his BS from the University of Tennessee at Martin and is a father of three. He announced his re-election bid for the 2026 primary, stating that taking care of Northwest Tennessee is his top priority. His platform includes supporting high-quality public education, maintaining low taxes through fiscally conservative policies, protecting Second Amendment rights by opposing red flag laws, and opposing illegal immigration. He also advocates for pro-life policies and works to benefit rural communities and farmers.
