Tarah Probst is the incumbent Representative for House District 189 in the Pennsylvania General Assembly, assuming office in December 2022. Before her election to the state House, Probst made history as the first female Mayor of Stroudsburg, serving from 2015 to 2022. A lifelong resident of northeast Pennsylvania, she was born and raised in East Stroudsburg. She earned a B.A. from King's College and a Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law.
