Tasha Boerner is an American politician serving as a member of the California State Assembly since 2018. A Democrat, she represents the 77th Assembly District, which includes coastal parts of northern San Diego County such as Carlsbad, Encinitas, and Coronado. Before her election to the State Assembly, Boerner served on the Encinitas City Council. She earned a B.A. in Political Science from UC Berkeley and an M.A. in International Studies from Claremont Graduate University.
