Edward "Ted" Philips is a Democratic member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the 8th Norfolk District since January 2021. He was born in Boston and lives in Sharon, where he graduated from Sharon High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (2005) and an M.P.A. from Suffolk University's Sawyer School of Business (2011). His career experience includes working as a legislative aide, committee director, and staff director.
