Born in Seattle, he graduated from Mercer Island High School, earned a BS in Architecture from the University of Virginia, and a Technology Management MBA from the University of Washington. His professional career includes 15 years at Microsoft and 10 years at Avanade, and he currently serves as an IT Portfolio Manager for the City of Seattle.
