Teresa VanNatta is the incumbent for the Hockinson School Board Director, District 1 seat. She is a teacher in the Evergreen School District and, with her husband, has co-owned the Hockinson Market since 1996. She has been an educator for over two decades and has had three children graduate from the Hockinson School District. In 2021, she stated her experience as an educator would be an asset to the board. The Hockinson School District board was recognized with a 2024 Board of Distinction award by the Washington State Director's Association for effective governance.
