I want Arizona to be a state where art, culture, history, and creativity are valued as important parts of our communities and our economy. As Governor, I will support Arizona artists, musicians, museums, theaters, cultural organizations, festivals, and creative small businesses while expanding opportunities for arts education and programs for our children. I want to strengthen partnerships among schools, local communities, nonprofits, tribal communities, businesses, and the private sector so we can expand access to the arts without placing unnecessary burdens on taxpayers. Arizona's unique history, Native American cultures, Hispanic heritage, Western traditions, and growing creative communities should be celebrated and preserved while we welcome new ideas and expression. Investing in arts and culture also supports tourism, revitalizes downtowns and rural communities, creates jobs, and brings people together. My goal is for Arizona to be known not only for its natural beauty and economic growth, but also as a place where creativity, culture, history, and artistic expression can thrive.

I believe Arizona elections should belong to the voters-not political parties, PACs, or special interests. I support fair ballot access for qualified Independent, third-party, and major-party candidates while maintaining strong protections against fraud, sham candidates, ballot harvesting, and misuse of campaign funds. I support the principles of the SAVE Act, including proof of U.S. citizenship for federal voter registration while protecting eligible citizens' access to voting. I will also pursue stronger Arizona laws requiring PAC transparency, including disclosure of who creates and controls PACs, major funding sources, and how political money is spent. My goal is simple: secure elections, transparent political spending, fair candidate access, and greater power and choice for Arizona voters.

I believe Arizona needs campaign finance reform that puts voters ahead of big money and special interests. I support stronger transparency requirements for PACs and political organizations, including public disclosure of who creates and controls them, their major funding sources, and how their money is spent to influence elections. I also support closing loopholes that allow political money to be hidden, strengthening enforcement and penalties for campaign finance violations, and making financial disclosures easier for the public to access and understand. Candidates and political organizations should be held to the same standards regardless of party. Arizona voters deserve to know who is financing campaigns, advertisements, and political influence before they cast their vote.

I support Arizona’s voter-approved legalization of cannabis for adults 21 and older and believe the state should focus on responsible regulation rather than recriminalization. As Governor, I will protect access to medical marijuana while strengthening safeguards that keep cannabis away from children, address impaired driving, ensure products are properly tested and labeled, and hold businesses accountable for following the law. I will also protect licensed cannabis business owners who are operating lawfully and in good faith from unnecessary government interference, inconsistent enforcement, and unfair regulatory practices. Cannabis tax revenue should directly benefit Arizona communities through education, mental health and substance-use treatment, and public safety. Adults deserve personal freedom, responsible Arizona businesses deserve fair treatment, and our children and communities deserve strong protections.

I believe every Arizonan should be accurately and fairly counted in the U.S. Census because those numbers directly affect representation, federal funding, infrastructure, healthcare, education, and resources for our communities. As Governor, I will support a transparent, secure, and nonpartisan census process that works to ensure urban, rural, Tribal, and historically undercounted communities are represented accurately. Census data should never be manipulated for political advantage. Arizona deserves an honest count, equal representation, and its fair share of federal resources based on accurate population data.

My priority in Arizona’s child welfare and foster care system is simple: protect children, strengthen families, and demand accountability from the agencies entrusted with their care. As Governor, I will work to ensure that children are never left in dangerous situations while also making family preservation and reunification a priority whenever it can be done safely. I support stronger oversight of DCS, faster and more transparent investigations, improved mental health and trauma services, better support and training for foster and kinship families, and reducing unnecessary delays that leave children in the system for years. We must also better support young adults aging out of foster care with housing, education, employment, and life-skills resources. Every decision should focus on the safety, stability, well-being, and long-term future of the child while respecting the rights of families and holding the system accountable.

Childcare has become one of the largest expenses facing working Arizona families, and I believe affordable childcare is essential to both family stability and a strong workforce. As Governor, I will work toward universal, affordable childcare through a phased approach that prioritizes working and middle-class families, expands assistance based on income, strengthens childcare providers, and creates incentives for employers to help cover childcare costs. My goal is to reduce the benefits cliff so parents are not punished for earning more or returning to work, while using existing resources more efficiently and targeting fraud, waste, and unnecessary government spending rather than simply raising taxes. No parent should have to choose between keeping a job and being able to afford safe, quality care for their children.

I believe every Arizonan deserves equal protection under the law, equal opportunity, and the freedom to live without discrimination, harassment, or hate-regardless of race, ethnicity, sex, disability, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, or background. As Governor, I will defend the constitutional and civil rights of every person, including freedom of speech, religion, due process, privacy, and equal protection under the law. I will oppose hate crimes and discrimination while protecting individual freedoms and ensuring government policies are applied fairly and consistently. Equality should never depend on your political party, income, ZIP code, faith, or who you are. My responsibility as Governor will be to represent and protect the rights of all Arizonans, including those who may disagree with me.

I support strong Right to Repair protections that give Arizonans the freedom to repair the products they own without being unnecessarily forced back to the manufacturer. Consumers and independent repair businesses should have fair access to the parts, tools, diagnostic information, and software needed to safely repair vehicles, electronics, appliances, agricultural equipment, and other products. As Governor, I will support reasonable Right to Repair legislation that protects warranties, safety, cybersecurity, and intellectual property while preventing manufacturers from using unfair restrictions to eliminate consumer choice or independent competition. If you buy it, you should have a reasonable right to repair it, and Arizona’s small repair businesses should have a fair opportunity to compete.

Arizona families are working harder and still struggling to keep up with the rising costs of housing, utilities, groceries, healthcare, childcare, and transportation. As Governor, my priority will be to lower the everyday cost of living without increasing taxes on Arizona families. I will fight unnecessary government spending, fraud, waste, and abuse; expand affordable housing and speed responsible development; reduce utility costs through competition, renewable energy, and stronger consumer protections; work to lower healthcare costs and eliminate benefit cliffs that punish people for earning more; expand affordable childcare so parents can work; support Arizona farmers and small businesses; and invest in workforce development that leads to better-paying jobs. I support criminal justice reform that keeps Arizona communities safe while ensuring our justice system is fair, accountable, and focused on reducing repeat crime. As Governor, I will support strong consequences for violent and dangerous offenders while expanding rehabilitation, mental health and substance-use treatment, education, job training, and reentry programs that give people who have served their sentences a real opportunity to rebuild their lives. I will work to reduce recidivism, improve conditions and accountability within our prisons, strengthen support and safety for correctional officers, and address unnecessary barriers that prevent formerly incarcerated people from finding employment and stable housing. I also support greater transparency and accountability throughout our courts and state agencies. I support technology, innovation, and responsible economic growth, but Arizona cannot continue approving massive data centers without fully accounting for their impact on our water, electricity, infrastructure, and communities. As Governor, I will push for stronger permitting requirements and greater transparency, require proposed data centers to demonstrate sustainable long-term water and energy plans before approval, and make these corporations responsible for the infrastructure and resource demands they create rather than shifting those costs onto Arizona families and taxpayers. I will review tax incentives and subsidies for large data-center projects, strengthen protections for communities affected by their development, and support responsible projects that bring real jobs and long-term economic value to Arizona. Innovation is welcome in Arizona, but it cannot come at the expense of our water security, affordable utilities, or quality of life.

I believe Arizonans have a fundamental right to privacy and should have greater control over their personal information. As Governor, I will push for strong data privacy protections that require transparency about how government agencies and companies collect, store, share, and sell personal data, while giving individuals meaningful rights over their information. I support strong cybersecurity standards and protections for sensitive information, especially involving children, healthcare, financial records, and biometric data. I will also work to ensure that emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, facial recognition, license-plate readers, and other surveillance systems, are used responsibly and consistently with the Fourth Amendment, including appropriate warrant and probable-cause protections. Technology can improve our lives and public safety, but innovation should never come at the expense of our constitutional rights, personal privacy, or freedom.

I believe every person deserves equal dignity, opportunity, and protection under the law regardless of race, sex, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or background. I support diversity and inclusion when the goal is removing discrimination and ensuring everyone has a fair opportunity, but I do not support government DEI policies that create quotas, preferences, or different standards based on identity. I also support the rights and dignity of transgender adults while recognizing that there are legitimate concerns involving children, privacy, safety, and fairness. I support protecting sex-based women’s sports and certain private spaces, providing reasonable accommodations such as additional restroom options when appropriate, and requiring parents to be involved in significant decisions involving their minor children. We can protect individual freedom and civil rights without taking rights or opportunities away from someone else.

I strongly support direct democracy and the constitutional right of Arizona voters to have a direct voice in their government through initiatives, referendums, and ballot measures. When the people of Arizona make a lawful decision at the ballot box, elected officials should respect that decision, even when they personally disagree with the outcome. As Governor, I will protect fair access to the ballot initiative process, demand transparency about who is funding campaigns and ballot measures, and support strong safeguards against fraud or manipulation. As Governor, I will work to protect disability services and strengthen access to healthcare, behavioral health, education, employment, transportation, housing, and community-based supports while holding state agencies accountable for unnecessary delays and barriers to care. I will advocate for stable funding for critical disability programs, support families and caregivers, expand opportunities for people with disabilities to live and work as independently as possible, and ensure Arizona complies with and upholds disability and civil rights protections. A disability should never determine whether someone has the opportunity to participate fully in their community or build the life they choose.
