Terry Carter is the current Mayor of Bonney Lake, appointed in March 2024. He previously served as Deputy Mayor and was first elected to the City Council in 2017. Carter has a 25-year career in law enforcement and currently serves as a Lieutenant at the Pacific Police Department. He is a U.S. Army veteran and attended Bellevue College. His community involvement includes serving as a Boy Scout Troop Master and volunteering at the Bonney Lake Food Bank.
