Terry Gibson has served on the Lockland Local Schools Board of Education for 18 years and also serves on the Great Oaks Career Campuses board. In 2023, he was one of four board members in Ohio to be named to the All-Ohio School Board by the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA). He has also served as board president and president of the OSBA's Southwest Region. His stated mission as a school board member is to "help children get the best possible education to help them succeed in life."
