Thomas D. “Val” Guest, Jr. is an incumbent South Carolina State Representative for House District 106, serving since 2022 as a Republican. Professionally, he is a partner at Ouverson & Guest, PA, in Murrells Inlet, where he has actively litigated cases since 1990. He possesses extensive experience in criminal defense, family law, business law, auto accidents, real estate, and general civil issues, and is a certified civil and domestic relations mediator. Guest earned a Bachelor of Science from The Citadel in 1982 and a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1989. His career includes serving as a former law clerk and prosecutor for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit of S.C.
