A veteran of the United States Army, he earned a bachelor's degree from the University of North Alabama and works as a real estate agent. As a member of the South Carolina Freedom Caucus, he champions pro-life policies and advocates for government accountability in spending, believing taxpayers should retain more of their income. He resides in Piedmont, South Carolina, and serves on the House Medical, Military, Public and Municipal Affairs Committee.
