Thomas M. Stanley is the State Representative for the 9th Middlesex District, representing most of Waltham, and has served in the Massachusetts House since 2001. A lifelong Waltham resident, he serves as House Chair of the Joint Committee on Aging and Independence and previously served as an at-large Waltham city councillor (1997–2016, 2018–2025) and as council president.
