Thomas Melville is a Medfield attorney and veteran journalist. He earned a bachelor's degree from Boston University (1980) and a law degree from Boston College Law School (1986), and served as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in the Dominican Republic. His journalism career included roles as news director at New England Cable News (NECN) and executive news director at WBUR; he later served as communications director at the MIT Energy Initiative. He is a husband, father, grandfather, and longtime community volunteer, including serving as board president of the Medfield Afterschool Program.
