Thomas Suozzi is an American politician and attorney serving as the U.S. Representative for New York's 3rd congressional district, an office he reclaimed in a 2024 special election after previously serving from 2017 to 2023. A Democrat, he previously served as Nassau County Executive from 2002 to 2009 and as Mayor of Glen Cove from 1994 to 2001. In Congress, he co-chairs the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus and has focused heavily on tax policy, border security, and environmental issues.
