Tim Browning is a seventh-generation Centralian and a graduate of Centralia High School and Centralia College. He had a two-decade career in higher education, teaching at institutions such as the University of New Mexico and the University of Arizona. He and his son own PostNet franchises in Centralia and Lacey. Browning has a long history of community service, having been president of Centralia Babe Ruth Baseball and serving on boards for the Lewis County Red Cross, United Way, and the Centralia Downtown Association. He was named the 2024 Centralia College Distinguished Alumni.
