Timothy "Tim" Lamb is the Democratic Party candidate for Attorney General of North Dakota in the 2026 primary election. A Grand Forks attorney with over 15 years in private practice, he is also a 20-year Army veteran and retired Major. Lamb aims to restore leadership and improve transparency in the Attorney General's office, proposing monthly press conferences. He seeks to strengthen relationships with state agencies and county state's attorneys, critiquing the current administration for interfering with local offices. He previously ran for Attorney General in 2022 and State Auditor in 2024. Lamb also opposes federal interference in North Dakota's election system.
