Tim Thomas

Tim Thomas is a Republican candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates in Legislative District 1A. A resident of Friendsville in Garrett County, Thomas has deep roots in the region's business and agricultural sectors. He co-owns a timber company with his wife, Paula. Thomas is also a third-generation owner of his family's 175-acre farm, where he grew up while it operated as a dairy farm. He and his wife later transformed the property into a recreational business, Shady Acres Motocross Park. This is his second time seeking this public office; he previously ran in the Republican primary for the same House of Delegates seat in 2022 and is a candidate in the upcoming primary.
