Timothy Nangle is an incumbent State Senator representing Maine's District 26, which includes Casco, Frye Island, Raymond, Windham, and part of Westbrook in Cumberland County. Born in Boxford, Massachusetts, he began his career as a police dispatcher at 17 before becoming a paramedic for 27 years in Maine. His political career started on the Windham town council, where he was elected in 2015 and 2018. He assumed office as a Democratic State Senator in December 2022 and currently chairs the Transportation Committee, also serving on the Health and Human Services Committee. Nangle is running for re-election in the 2026 Democratic primary.
