Timothy M. Weiner is an incumbent judge for the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in California, having assumed office in 2018 after being appointed by Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. His current term is set to end on January 4, 2027. Before his appointment as a judge, he served as a Los Angeles County Superior Court Commissioner from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, he was a deputy attorney general for the Office of the Attorney General of California from 2001 to 2016. He also served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the California State Guard's Legal Support Command. Judge Weiner earned a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Cruz, a J.D. from Southwestern Law School, and an LL.M. from the Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law.
