Timothy Steiner is a lifelong resident of Cheney. He attended Central Washington University, Spokane Community College, and Eastern Washington University, earning an associate degree in fire science and a vocational teaching certificate. He recently retired after 38 years with the Cheney Fire Department, where he started as a volunteer and rose to the rank of battalion chief. This is his first run for public office.
