Tom Leatherwood is an incumbent Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 99. Prior to his legislative service, Leatherwood served as the Shelby County Register of Deeds from 2000 to 2018. During his tenure in the House, he has been assigned to various committees, including Education Instruction, Health (where he served as Vice Chair), State Government, Local Government, and Naming and Designating.
