Tommy Vitolo is the Democratic state representative for Massachusetts' 15th Norfolk District, first elected in 2018. He grew up in a working-class New England neighborhood, earned three bachelor's degrees from North Carolina State University on a merit scholarship, a master's degree in Ireland as a Mitchell Scholar, and a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from Boston University. Before taking office he worked at Synapse Energy Economics providing energy analysis to public-interest clients, and he has served in Brookline's Town Meeting since 2007 and as town constable.
