Toni Troutner was first elected to the Kent City Council in 2017 and is running for her third term. A resident of Kent for over 25 years, she has a background as a market research analyst and small business owner. Prior to her election, she was heavily involved in the community, serving as a local PTSA President, a commissioner on the Civil Service Commission, a board member of the Kent Downtown Partnership, and a coordinator for the Severe Weather Shelter. She served as Council President from 2020-2021.
