Toni Troutner was first elected to the Kent City Council in 2017. A resident of Kent for over 25 years, she has been actively involved in the community, serving as president of the Kent School District PTSA, a commissioner on the Civil Service Commission, and past president of the Kent Downtown Partnership. She is the chair of the Kent Drug Free Coalition and a coordinator for the Kent Severe Weather Shelter. Troutner works as a market research analyst and owns a small business in Kent. She and her husband have raised two sons in the city.
