Tony T. Smith

Tony T. Smith, a lifelong Nevadan born in Las Vegas, is a Democratic candidate for the Nevada State Assembly, District 20. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a law degree from Lewis and Clark College of Law, with a career as an attorney. Smith is running to ensure government works for all Nevadans, not just the wealthy or powerful. His platform includes getting money out of politics, ending special interest tax breaks for mining companies, advocating for universal pre-K and childcare, making life affordable, and holding corporate interests accountable. He refuses corporate or corporate PAC donations to maintain independence.
