A Wenatchee native, he attended local public schools before pursuing higher education. He gained culinary experience in Bellingham, Seattle, and Thailand before returning to Wenatchee in 2011 to manage his family's business, The Thai Restaurant, established in 1991. He and his wife opened Atlas Fare in 2020. In 2021, he was elected to the Wenatchee City Council for District 3. He was also the Distinguished Alumni Speaker at Wenatchee High School's 2022 graduation ceremony.
