Tracy Ehlert

Tracy Ehlert is an incumbent State Representative for Iowa House District 79, serving since January 2023, and previously for District 70 since January 2019. A Democrat, she is seeking re-election in the 2026 primary. Ehlert is a prominent early childhood educator and advocate, owning and operating B2K Learning Center & Consulting, which specializes in STEM experiences for young children. She is also a summer school teacher and serves on the Early Childhood Iowa State Board. In the legislature, she is the Ranking Member on the Education Committee and a member of Economic Growth and Technology, Health and Human Services, and Labor and Workforce committees, reflecting her commitment to education, community well-being, and economic development.
