Trish McGee is a non-partisan candidate and President of the Kent County Board of Education in Maryland, serving a third elected term. Moving to Chestertown at age eight, she is an honors graduate of St. Andrew's School and earned a bachelor's degree in history from Washington College. A fourth-generation journalist, she retired after a 37-year career as a reporter and photographer for the Kent County News and is now the owner and publisher of The Evening Enterprise. Dedicated to her community, McGee has coached high school field hockey for over 30 years and is a Character Counts! volunteer.
