Tristan Israel is a singer/songwriter, landscaper, and longtime Martha's Vineyard local official. A native of Mamaroneck, N.Y., he first came to the Island in the late 1960s and has lived there for about 50 years. He owns Tristan's Landscape, served 24 years as a Tisbury selectman, and currently serves on the Dukes County Commission.
