Troy McCoy is a candidate for Battle Ground City Council - Position No. 1 in Battle Ground, Washington — 2025 General Election. Running as Nonpartisan.

Troy McCoy has been a resident of Battle Ground since 2001. He was elected to the City Council for Position No. 1 in November 2021 and was selected by the council to serve as Mayor starting in January 2024. Before his time on the city council, he served for four years on the Battle Ground Public School District Board of Directors. McCoy holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Oregon State University and has owned a small insurance business in Battle Ground for over a decade. He is also a board member of the Battle Ground Education Foundation.
