Tyler Holmes is a fourth-generation Johnson County resident and a lawyer. A graduate of Blue Valley North High School, he earned both his BA and JD from the University of Kansas, where he also worked at the Dole Institute of Politics. He has practiced law in Kansas and Missouri courts, served as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), sat on the Blue Valley School Board's advisory committee for curriculum and instruction, and volunteered with Lenexa's Project 10-20 and Kanbe's Markets. He ran for the Kansas House to keep Johnson County an affordable and safe place to live, work, and raise a family.
