Valerie Brockenbrough is an entrepreneur who moved to Winston-Salem in 2003 from France and became a U.S. citizen in 2006. She founded her own business, Zoë b Organic, in 2005. A parent of three children who have attended Winston-Salem/Forsyth County schools, she has been actively involved in the community, serving as PTA president for The Downtown School and as board president of the Piedmont Environmental Alliance. In 2023, she co-founded Community for Public Schools, a non-partisan group that advocates for and supports local public schools. She previously ran for Forsyth County Commissioner in 2024.
