Valli D. Geiger is an incumbent State Representative for Maine's House District 42, currently serving her third term. A Democrat, she sits on the Labor and Energy, Utilities and Technology Committees. Her extensive career includes roles as a nurse, health policy analyst, health administrator, and director of Healthreach Hospice. Geiger holds a master’s degree in sustainable design, applying this expertise to build her own passive-solar and net-zero-energy home, and is passionate about increasing housing availability. She previously served six years on the Rockland City Council, including a term as mayor, and four years on the Rockland Comprehensive Planning Commission. She resides in Rockland with her husband, Greg Marley, and has one child.
