Vic Meyers, a Colorado native born in Pueblo in 1967, is a Democratic candidate for the Colorado House of Representatives District 47 in 2026. An Army veteran who served as a CH-47 Chinook mechanic, he also holds a B.S. in mathematics and previously served on the Trinidad School Board. Meyers is married to Kelly and has three children. He is running on a platform emphasizing strengthening public school funding, protecting rural health care, bolstering family-based agriculture, and advocating for democratic values, believing this moment calls for steady leadership and a commitment to working families. He previously sought election to the U.S. House in 2014.
