Vickie Adamson

Vickie Adamson is a native of North Carolina, raised in Iredell County and a resident of Raleigh since 1983. She earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from East Carolina University. Her professional background is in corporate finance, where she worked as a business and financial analyst for several large corporations, including Fujitsu. Adamson was first elected to the Wake County Board of Commissioners in 2018 and is currently serving her third term. She serves as Chair of the Public Safety Committee and Vice-Chair of the Affordable Housing Committee. She is also a liaison or board member for several organizations, including the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau and InterAct of Wake County.
