Victoria Hunt

Victoria Hunt is the incumbent Washington State Senator for the 5th Legislative District, appointed in June 2025. She previously served in the Washington House of Representatives starting in January 2025 and served three terms on the Issaquah City Council. Hunt has a background in science, having worked as a data scientist at Breakthrough Energy and as the Chief Data Officer at Crosswalk Labs. She was also a faculty member at the University of Washington's Urban Design and Planning Department. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University in 2007 and a Ph.D. in Computational Ecology from the University of Illinois in 2015.
