Virginia Keeny was appointed to the Superior Court of Los Angeles County by Governor Jerry Brown in 2012. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University and her Juris Doctorate from Stanford Law School. Prior to her appointment, her legal career included serving as a law clerk for Judge William A. Norris in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, a public interest fellow at Litt and Stormer, and a senior trial attorney for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She later became a partner at Hadsell & Stormer, Inc. (later Hadsell Stormer Keeny Richardson and Renick LLP), where she focused on civil rights and employment law.
