Vito Barbieri is an incumbent Republican member of the Idaho House of Representatives, currently serving his seventh term for District 3, Seat A. He is seeking an eighth term in the May 2026 primary election, representing parts of Kootenai County and residing in Dalton Gardens. First elected in 2010, Barbieri chairs the House Environment, Energy and Technology Committee and also serves on the Business, Ethics and House Policy, and State Affairs Committees. An attorney by profession, he earned a juris doctor from Western State University. He faces a primary challenge from Eric Seeley and will face Democrat Melissa Mateer in the general election.
