Wallace H. "Jay" Jordan Jr. is an incumbent Republican State Representative for South Carolina's District 63, first elected in 2015. He is seeking re-election in the 2026 Primary. An attorney by profession, he graduated from the Charleston School of Law in 2007. He is a resident of Florence, where he is actively involved in his church as a deacon and Sunday school teacher, and coaches youth sports. Representative Jordan serves on the House Judiciary and Ethics Committees, and his legislative efforts include sponsoring bills related to regional authorities, land conservation, and banking. He has also voted on redistricting legislation. Prior to his state house service, he contributed to local governance on the Florence County Election Commission and Voter Registration Board, and the City of Florence Planning Commission.
