Wanika Fisher

Wanika Fisher is a Democratic candidate for Prince George's County State's Attorney. A former Assistant State's Attorney for the county, she has also served in the Maryland House of Delegates, where she was the Assistant Majority Leader. Currently, she is a member of the Prince George's County Council, representing District 2, and chairs the Health, Human Services, and Public Safety Committee. The daughter of Nigerian and South Asian immigrants, Fisher is a graduate of the University of Maryland and the Dickinson School of Law. Her political platform emphasizes a commitment to public safety and smart justice reform.
