Wayne Nichols is a lifelong resident of Longview. He worked at Weyerhaeuser/Nippon for 41 years, where he was involved in infrastructure inspection, water and wastewater treatment facility maintenance, and served as a Labor Union officer and contract negotiator. He has also volunteered as a lieutenant firefighter/EMT, a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), a credit union board member, and a Cowlitz County elections worker.
