Wendy Chang was appointed as a Judge to the Los Angeles County Superior Court by Governor Jerry Brown in 2018. She presides over a civil unlimited jurisdiction courtroom. Prior to her appointment, she was a partner at the law firm Hinshaw & Culbertson, where she specialized in professional ethics and complex business litigation. Her career also includes positions as an associate at several other law firms, including Manatt, Phelps and Phillips LLP, and Baker, Keener and Nahra. Judge Chang earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.
