Will Rubel is a seasoned education-community advocate and technologist residing in Grimes, Iowa. With more than 25 years living in the area, he and his family share deep roots in the Dallas Center‑Grimes Community School District (DCG), including two district-graduate children and a spouse who works as a DCG educator. A veteran with over 28 years of public service, Will holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Drake University (1992) and passed the CPA exam shortly thereafter. He went on to earn an MBA (2001) and built a diverse professional portfolio spanning governmental accounting, human resources, logistics, federal contracting, training and cloud engineering. Driven by a commitment to fiscal accountability, parent engagement, and forward-looking school leadership, Will is now running for the DCG School Board to ensure every student is empowered, every family’s voice is heard, and the district remains prepared for tomorrow’s educational challenges — including the effective integration of AI and instructional innovation.
